20せいきしょうねん

先週の木曜日のはちじから　じゅじじゅうごふんごろまで　ムービナイトが　ありました。　私は　えいがを　みに　いきました。　あえがのなまえは　20せいきしょうねん　です。　おもしろくて、にぎやかな　えいが　です。　だから、いいですね。

I watched 20th Century Boys last Thursday. It was an interesting movie, which follows Kenji, the main protagonist of the story, as he tries to unravel the mystery of a religious cult and its leader, 'Friend.' Eventually, he learns that the religious cult is also one of the biggest terrorist organizations of the world, and only Kenji can stop it due to his past friendship with 'Friend' during elementary school.

At first, I was a little skeptical of this movie simply because it is based on a large, and very popular, manga series. I thought it'd be too difficult to put all of the information presented in the manga into a two and a half hour long movie. However, that didn't seem to be the case with this movie, as I was surprisingly able to follow the plot of the movie without any hiccups. There were some cheesy moments in the movie that made me laugh due to the absurdity of them, such as when the time bomb, which is made of dynamite, exploded at the scale of a nuclear bomb. The story was still interesting, though. If  I have the time, I may want to check out the second or third installments of this trilogy. Does anyone know if they're on netflix, or if they'd be worth a watch?

サンクスギビング

先週はサンクスギビングの休みでした。にぎやかで、たのしかったです。　私は　うちに　かえりました。　かいものに　いって、　りょうりを　して、　うちで　ゆっくりしました。　たいてい　私のうちで　うんどう　します。　でも、先週　しませんでした。私は　たくさん たべものを　たべました。

わたしのへや

ぼくは　アメリカの学生　です。そして、すべてが　わたしのへやの中に　あります。このへやは　小さい　ですよ。　コンピュータとベッドとテレビが　あります。　よく　コンピュータで　えいがを　みます。　フリーザーの中に　さけが　あります。　でも、　しょくひんが　わたしのへやの中に　ありません。　わたしは　がくしょくで　ごはんを　たべます。　

わたしのまち

わたしは　ジョージアしゅのアトランタ　から　きました。アトランタは　アメリカに　あります。　アトランタは　おおきい　まち　ですよ。でも、　ふるくありません。　アトランタは　いい　まち　です。　そして,　ゆうめいな　まち　です。

せんしゅうまつ

わたしは　せんしゅうまつのどようびに　ノートルダムのスタジアムで　フットボールを　みませんでした。　でも、　りょうのへやで　みました。　そして、　にちようびに　としょかんで　しゅくだいを　しました。　ノートルダムのとしょかんは　りっぱ　です。

わたしのしゅうまつ

せんしゅうのきにょうびに　わたしは　デバートロで　にほんごのじゅぎょうが　ありました。きにょうびのばん　うちで  パーティーが　ありました。そして、ビールを　のみました。まいしゅうまつ　ビールを　のみます。そして、まいしゅうまつ　スタジアムで　フットボールゲームを　みます。　どこで　フットボールゲームを　みますか？

わたしのブログのしゅくだい

わたしは　まいあさ　おきます。あさごはんを　たべます。クラスに　いきます。よく　としょかんで　にほんごを　べんきょうします。たいてい　じゅうにじに　ねます。

じこしょうかい

わたしは　ムーニーです。　アメリカじんです。　よねんせいです。　せんこうは　いがくのぶつりがくです。　わたしは　にほんじんじゃありません。

One of my goals in life is to be able to eat the Japanese delicacy known as kobe beef. The cows that make kobe beef are only grown in the Hyogo Prefecture in Japan, so it is a very rare meat. It is also supposed to be a very good type of beef, and it is typically rated 2 ranks higher than the typical prime rib steak here in America. If I ever visit Japan and have the money to pay for kobe beef, I wish to eat this delicacy.

Self-Introduction

I chose to study Japanese because Japanese culture can be intriguing. For instance, I think Japanese martial arts and samurai movies are entertaining. I have also watched anime such as Dragonball Z and Gundam when I was a kid, and I would like to understand the language it was originally spoken in. Japanese history is interesting too, and I like to compare and contrast it with Western history. I hope to visit Japan someday, and I hope to have fun learning the Japanese language.
